The benefits of taking this course for your own learning are many, not least familiarity and confidence, enabling you to use a powerboat to its full potential. We can provide an experienced instructor to guide you through the early stages of familiarisation and ownership. Areas worth considering may include boat handling, slip ways, marina berthing, beach launching, or passage making. We are still learning and so can you.
Boat Trim and balance - heavy weather boating. A fun packed introduction to the exciting sport of Powerboating. The full day experience will start with a briefing on land before learning low speed handling skills in sheltered water. In the afternoon, you'll be picking up speed and taking on the thrill of handling these power machines in more open water.

We offer the widest range of training in, beach launching and hazards, slipways, boat handling, pontoons, moorings, high sea conditions, watersports, safety, equipment and towing. Prices. . . . .
Should you wish to use our boat for RYA Instruction, MCA Exam Preparation, or simply require coaching in specific areas such as boat handling, pilotage or engine trimming, please call us or E-mail to discuss your requirements. RYA Powerboat Level 1 £120pp, Level 2 and ICC 2 day course £240pp. Anka Point POA.
Crew can also be trained or attend for £50pp/ day.
Boat controls are part of these courses.

We use the finest kit, use our Avon 620 with 115HP outboard for RYA training, MCA Exam Preparation or Anka Point our Princess V42 motor yacht for twin engine, 10m or over ICC.

Our instructors are full time professionals and have a significant experience of a wide range of yachts, motor cruisers and powerboats, they have seasons of commercial experience working from beaches, marinas and slipways in all conditions.
Avon 620 on trailer on beach They have vast experience of towed watersports, safety boat cover and instructing. They are not just PB instructors they are commercial operators and watersports trainers with 1,000's of boating hours and our informal approach will soon build your confidence and maximise your enjoyment. We can design instructional packages to suit your individual needs.
